Já tem capa e tracklist. A banda tem um novo membro e tournée marcada(que não passa por Portugal, ainda).
Com data marcada de saída dia 7 de Outubro deste ano, o sucessor do muito aclamado Hissing Fauna, Are you The Destroyer? já está pronto. Já há algum tempo atrás Kevin Barnes ( para quem não sabe, vocalista e mentor dos Of Montreal ) tinha falado sobre o álbum no myspace da banda, daí saíram algumas citações "interessantes" tais como:
It is possible to view this album as one long composition, with lots of different movements, or just as a collection of pop songs. i wanted to make an album that was unpredictable and, at times,startling, yet always hummable and catchy.
I wanted to make a record that could truly surprise a listener. to create something that was, in turns, enraging,joyous,discomforting,playful,lovely,unpleasant,freaky,mesmeric...something that came close to capturing the labyrinthine complexity of this human consciousness.
De referir, que o novo membro da banda é Ahmed Gallab, aka Sinkane e andou em tour com Caribou e tem um projecto chamando, também, Sinkane.
